Indian businessman’s CSR initiatives help change lives of Congolese.
Mumbai: Harish Jagtani , a businessman and a philanthropist of Indian origin, has been working determinedly to serve the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) through his CSR initiatives and for creating a better life for them, especially for those from economically weaker backgrounds. Mr. Jagtani has been based in Kinshasa, DRC, for over 20 years now. Mr. Jagtani began his business venture in the DRC with Serve Air, which is the most-preferred cargo shipment partner of the state and global NGOs, such as the UN and WHO, among others. After this, Mr. Jagtani launched Modern Constructions and built some important buildings and commercial centres in Kinshasa, besides HJ Hospitals to bring quality healthcare to the people of Congo with state-of-the-art infrastructure and services.
